Origin has shifted its emphasis from "corporate social responsibility" to "sustainable growth and enhancement of corporate value over the medium to long term," and established the Sustainability Committee to strengthen its sustainability management initiatives.
The Sustainability Committee is headed by the President and Chief Executive Officer, and is composed of directors and executive officers in charge of business divisions. The Sustainability Committee determines materiality and KPIs, monitors them, directs improvement plans, promotes sustainability management, and reports and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors. The Sustainability Executive Committee is established as the steering committee of the Committee and provides a practical framework for resolving issues.
