Basic Sustainability Policy

Based on the management philosophy and the Origin Group Charter of Corporate Behavior, Origin Corporation strives to contribute to the creation of a sustainable society and enhance corporate value by solving social issues through the provision of products and services.

1.Consideration for global environmental issues such as climate change

We will make company-wide efforts to develop environmentally friendly product technologies, such as energy conservation, clean energy, and reduction of chemical substance emissions, and to engage in biodiversity and other environmentally friendly activities.

2.Respect for human rights, consideration for employees' health and working environment, and fair and appropriate treatment

Together with our stakeholders, we will work to realize a safe work environment where employees can work cheerfully and vigorously, taking into consideration their basic rights regarding human rights and work styles.

3.Fair and proper transactions with suppliers

We will comply with domestic and international laws and rules, engage in fair, transparent, free competition and appropriate business transactions, disclose corporate information in a positive and fair manner, and engage in fair business activities throughout the supply chain in cooperation with our business partners.

Establishment of Sustainability Committee

Origin has shifted its emphasis from "corporate social responsibility" to "sustainable growth and enhancement of corporate value over the medium to long term," and established the Sustainability Committee to strengthen its sustainability management initiatives.

The Sustainability Committee is headed by the President and Chief Executive Officer, and is composed of directors and executive officers in charge of business divisions. The Sustainability Committee determines materiality and KPIs, monitors them, directs improvement plans, promotes sustainability management, and reports and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors. The Sustainability Executive Committee is established as the steering committee of the Committee and provides a practical framework for resolving issues.
